I don’t get it. Every time I play firefight there is always 1 or 2 players who have less than 30 kills and around 10k points. What could they have possibly been doing this whole time? Are they even trying? I just lost at round 2 just now because 8 people were incapable of killing a wraith. I just don’t understand sometimes
That’s because some people don’t understand that firefight requires REQs to win.
A few people like that on your team can really destroy your odds of winning
Or they could have joined mid-game
It’s awful spawning at round 4-5 with REQ level 1 and knowing you’ll be useless the whole match

I’m not having a whole lot of fun when I’m pouring reqs and scoring points and kills when someone else is just sitting there doing literally nothing to contribute toward winning. I don’t care about stats at all I’m just wondering how is it feasibly possible to do so little when there HUNDREDS of enemies and someone manages to get 20 kills in 20 minutes.

My last WarZone firefight game I drove around in scout hogs the whole game. Most fun I’ve had in the mode. Got like 10 kills lol.

They’re probably just new, without many reqs. I know it’s frustrating but it’s probably not their fault.
I just pop a scout… not sure why teammates still complain I am just wasting the round… Seems they never noticed that it’s easy to top the board for frost couple of rounds.

It attracts casual players cause there is little to no competition in firefight. All the decent players go to things like arena playlists and warzone/warzone assault. I find myself carrying most games, look at my recent warzone games, I’m mostly 1st place.

Yeah sometimes I see that manage to get like 4 normal kills and no boss kills, yet they get plenty of points. They play the whole time so I just don’t understand.
Also people that just shoot at bosses with BRs are the worst. I’m not going to waste my reqs when I know no one else will use theirs and we can’t win.

Getting barely any kills and dying over and over does not sound very fun to me.

I find myself doing the same thing constantly… And to be honest that’s a problem, because I kinda suck at halo. I’m horrible at this game, and i still regularly top leaderboards. Makes me worry about the mental integrity of my teammates… >.>
Why do people go 0-17 in an Arena game? Because some people are just bad at the game in general no matter what they’re playing.
that’ll be me sometimes when I JIP. its much harder to stack up kills in the later rounds. also important if you are doing a lot of promethean rounds to note how many assists those players have. i had a round where I only had like 15 kills but I had like 70+ assists. I’m still not really sure how that happened.

JIP is fine. I’m talking about people who are in from the beginning and legit don’t do anything or spend reqs. It’s just annoying because sometimes if too many people don’t participate it causes the whole team to fail. Pre-made groups are the way to go for FF but it’s hard to get a group every time.
A lot of times it has to do with simply not getting the kills they need. I don’t try all that hard (least, it feels that way to me) but by the time I’m at Round 3 Im usually top three in the game.
Every.
SINGLE.
GAME.
More than likely there’s people like me in every game, simply stealing the kills other people need.

I’ve concluded that this is frequently the problem. The newer players just don’t have the reqs to play in order to stay competitive in WZFF. I also suspect that the matchmaking takes it into account…matching lower SR players (with fewer reqs) with higher ones.
It can be tough for low levels but, ya I wonder how they get such low scores

Well that explains im the only SR of above 100 at 147 while the rest were below SR100. Couple of them were even around SR 20

yeah thats the main reason i stopped playing it…i just cant justify the use of so many powerful reqs just to kill AI enemies…hell i dont even like using them in pvp warzone cuz i might lose them
