I know this has been going on since the ranks have been out, but how are people quitting out of lobbies to avoid maps that were selected? ITS VERY ANNOYING
Some people quit the game on the xbox dashboard and some are completely innocent, the game crashes or they are just kicked out of it for no reason, that has happened a few times to myself
you start an xbox live party. When you get a map/game type you dont want, you go to the party and click the leave option. it gives options for: “party”, “multiplayer”, and “party and multiplayer”. You then click multiplayer, and now you’re not in that game.
Learned this from a pro streamer Naded. He had it explained to him by one of his buddies.
Or, just end the app like the post said above me.

That’s an easy fix. Vote halo 1 or 2 once in awhile. I like halo 3 but I’m not going to play it EVERY time I play BTB. I won’t duck out if you vote halo 1 or 2

Don’t know if he cares or not, but backing out ruins things for everyone else that’s been waiting for a game to start up. I wouldn’t feel any guilt for Blocking someone who’s perfectly fine with ruining a dozen other people’s game just because he didn’t get the game he personally wanted.

Shouldn’t have a choice, should be locked into the game…forever.

I don’t hate halo 3 but it’s played EVERY time in BTB… It gets kinda old playing the same game over and over again that’s why there’s 4 games in the playlist
The leaving lobby thing needs to stop and when people do it wrong, it ruins the game with 3 v 4

I get that and I see games/maps constantly come up that I’d rather not play but unless you are going in with enough people to push the vote in the direction you want, you are kind of at the mercy of what the masses want. It sucks but screwing everyone that is in the lobby because you didn’t get what you want seems like an overly harsh retort and one that just ends up giving you a bad rep.
Easy fix for 343. Actually really easy. Do away with cross game playlists (as many have been saying since before release). That is the only way to fix the quitting problem.

ive ate enough lumps and cannot swallow anymore. i have a zero telerance on smg or AR starts. they dont work. also some maps are just beyond trash… isolation comes to mind

The problem is when someone backs out quickly enough it restarts the search and there is no record of who was in the group and who backed out which makes it near impossible to lower the quitter’s rep by reporting and or blocking them since you don’t know who did it.

In reality it was the worst mistake to make people just like playing specific game modes they should of just put the game modes within each Halo playlist.
Stop moaning about it.
What would you prefer? Someone backing out b4 the game starts or someone quitting when the match starts to put your team 1 douwn?
The quit penalty needs to start as soon as all the players are chosen. Before voting is finished, thats the only way to stop people.
