Little laggy?! You kidding me?
That’s because we allways have to play on American servers, so we have to play with this kind of disadvantage.
Almost every game is like that…
I could have killed that guy 3 times before he even shot me on a dedicated server.
The shots did not even have hitmark…

here’s where the stupidity of the weapon balancing rears its ugly head (and this is really my only gripe about the sandbox being balanced). There’s less aim assist/bullet magnetism in the magnum then there is in any of the precision weapons. Couple that with the unfortunate reality that apparently MSFT/343’s dedi servers are overwhelmed and they had to reintroduce hosting and the classic non-continental-America players get absolutely shafted. That all being said, the biggest instance of BS was that last shotgun shell that was well within range and DEFINITELY enough center mass to register a kill with the shotty. Everything else was choked because your shots were fairly wild, but you still should have gotten the kill easier than that.
Sucks.

Maybe it was just my connection to the video but his shots looked wild to me. I could always be wrong, that’s just what I saw.
With the lag and shots not being registered, you completely lose the timing to shoot and - consequently - the aim.

Ok I watched it again and you definitely got screwed over with lag. My bad, I should’ve watched more closely the first time.
I might be mistaken but you don’t have to play on NA servers do you? I mean you’ll get some games from NA if you use expanded search parameters, but are most of your games played ok those servers?

Focused search is useless here in Brazil, so we have to look for games in Balanced mode and almost allways we get into NA servers. This is not Expanded search, it’s Balanced… oO … And I have pretty good connection…

Same for me when i go into ffa lol, the only way for me to find players in it is to search on expanded parameters, on which the connection is horrible and i’m facing high onyx and champion players constantly, leading to getting my -Yoink- handed to me, it’s so frustrating.
The only thing that is going to help this is by having the option of Selectable Servers. There is no other way around it. At least that way you have some control on where you play and the games will be more consistent.

This is true, but the last shot should have killed him. Pause it when he fires the shotgun, he definitely hit it right. My guess is that he was already registered dead on the server when he fired, as the other guy had killed him. So maybe the last shot didn’t count. I don’t know though, I’m not sure how they compensate for lag.
I had a frustrating game the other day where all sorts of stuff was happening. I recorded this clip, where I shoot someone then go to hit them from behind to finish them off. Suddenly I’m dead as they no scoped me, they had probably turned round in time on their screen but it looked like they were facing away from my on my screen. I respawned and ran around the corner, only to get stuck from halfway across the map. Everything that could go wrong went wrong in that game, very frustrating. And lag doesn’t help, it makes things very annoying.
Git gud.
No, seriously - I seriously feel you. I had too many matches like that myself.
