It makes no sence to me how I’m doing so bad at halo 5. I have been playing halo since 2007 and I do good in other halos. In other halos I play big team battle, team slayer, and free for all. In halo 5 I always seem to get killed in a lot of -Yoink- ways. I feel like my guns are doing less damage to the enemy and i also feel like I die way to fast compared to other halos.
This happens to me with every halo, with some i’m great but others i’m complete garbage. I was really good at 3 terrible at Reach (no matter how much i played) great at 4 and i’m not that great at 5.

This is awesome. I approve of this.
The aiming is bugged. Deadzones are wayyyy too huge for Xbox controllers, and the aim acceleration is all over the place.
I feel the same way, its just since 343 is trying more to make a more E-sports focused type of game instead of casual game play, there are more “mlg” or “try hards” playing than the casual gamer. Plus it doesn’t help we are forced ranks in everything but warzone. I wasn’t even ranked in slayer before i was put up against a diamond ranked player and subsequently lost. I really wish they had an unranked playlist, I don’t like being forced to play competitively. I do good in most of my games but then i have streaks where i just keep on losing, so yeah, you’re not the only one.
I’m doing just fine here. The playing field is more balanced and skill can matter in BR shootouts. I’m pleased.

Yeah I know what you mean I just like to relax and have a good time with my games but that’s impossible in this one because its full of so many tryhards.

You’re doing bad? I looked at your service record and your K/D, I’d say you’re actually pretty good dude.
Give it time. Years have been spent in previous halo’s where nothing much changed, now with a big jump you’ll take more time to adjust to it.

The numbers say differently, compare your service record to mine. You’re whooping my butt, and I’m a veteran of all the games on Legendary. I mean, if it’s any consolation. But, PvE and PvP are two very different beasts.
Yeah I felt that way at first and still do on occasion but it takes some getting used to. Especially for me seeing as Ive spent the entire last 12 months playing destiny. Give it some more time, ya just need some more practice. Plus, while I like warzone, I play much better in slayer and the regular modes. Warzone’s fun but no bueno for your K/D
I’ve been playing Halo from the begining on the original Xbox but only really started playing multiplayer from Halo 3 and thought I was quite good until I ventured away from halo for a while then started again with the Master Cheif edition and Halo 5 and am struggling.
I get quite lot of assists but kills are hard to come by. The game has definately evolved into something more competetive.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m still enjoying Halo and the fact that I suck at multiplayer just makes me want to play more so I can get better

Evolution my friend, games change you can’t expect halo to stay the same, I welcome the new changes.
I’m in the same boat mate. The last few games I’ve been getting a little better. Sprint seems to screw me over though. MP is so fast paced I feel like I’m having a panic attack every game. Looking forward to some social playlists where, hopefully, I won’t get my butt kicked so much
