I just finished my 10 placement matches in both Team Arena and Slayer and received Platinum I. I played pretty poorly. Does anyone know how this ranking system is judged. I don’t know how bad you have to be to get bronze. Anyone else feel over-ranked or under-ranked?
My stats are nearly identical to yours and I got Bronze I, the lowest rank 
1.2 k/d and 40% wins
If it’s anything like other games with a similar ranking system (League of Legends) it just depends on who you beat and their current standing. I got Diamond and I was playing with some friends I would never bring into a ranked game lol, so maybe the game figured I had to carry based on their rating?
I know it’s win/loss based, but ultimately who you win and lose against matters. I do not know if your team’s rating is taken into consideration as well.
I got Onxy in Swat and Diamond in Arena. I won 8 out of 10 in Arena and 9 out of 10 in swat. I don’t think that has anything to do with it though. I think it’s based off of your opponents ranks.
That is interesting. I might go back and look at some of my old games to see the rankings of the other players. I just know I did not play very well. I’d be interested to see an official list what all it takes into account to rank people.
