How about that Gamefuel?

How about that Gamefuel?
I’m not really a big soda drinker, but every time it’s come around since Halo 3, I can’t help but buy cases and cases of the stuff.

When Halo 3 was released, I could feel the absolutely awful, yet wonderfully nostalgic Gamefuel sugar running through my body as my friends and I made the final Warthog run.
I remember back in the days of ODST, chilling with my pals with empty cans and bottles of the WoW Gamefuel all about the room as we fought wave upon wave of Covies.
During the midnight launch party for Halo: CEA they handed out free Gamefuel during an Anniversary map pack tournament for Reach.
A week after Halo 4 came out, I hosted a LAN party with, again, tons and tons of the liquid diabetes that is Gamefuel. (Doritos, too.)
So yeah. As stupid as it sounds, It’s sort of become tradition for me to get some when it’s come out. Too many awesome memories to not.
How about you guys?

Never had the stuff, but now I need to go see if a store nearby has some or something. Sounds like fun.

Man, I miss the halo 3 game fuel specifically! That was the stuff man. Does anyone know if they are still selling it this year?

Liquid. Smarties. I still have some leftover from last year.

Yeah, I believe so. From what I’ve heard, it’s not targeted at a specific game though, and there’s even a new Lemonade flavor.

That sounds delicious. I really need to get some. Do you know where they sell the stuff?

Everywhere*

I’m probably gonna go and pick up a few cases today and stock up for a LAN party I’m hosting after the MCC is out.

Is it verified as being out yet? It is rumored to be a lemon flavored version. I think last year’s incarnation was for Dead Rising 3 and the Xbox One, and a throwback to the original orange-citrus, with like 52g of sugar per can hahaha.

Unfortunately, I’m sure it’ll be CoD themed again. Only Halo 3 and Halo 4 had themed game fuel; Halo Reach had its own Noble Team bottles.

From what I know, they are officially out. I’ve seen CoD branding on the Lemonade variant, but nothing on the other variant? I could be wrong on that.

Yup, it is being sold this year, promoting CoD Advanced Warfare. There is your usual Cherry Citrus flavor everybody loves as well as a new lemonade flavor. Mixing them in equal amounts gets you a grapefruit flavor. If you are fortunate enough, you can find the rare 12 fl. oz. fridge packs of their pre CoD cans, which has red clouds on the cans and packaging. I only came across three cases like this thus far and don’t think I will again, as they all have the CoD labeling on it now.

Where is your LAN party going to be? Open to others?

Well, I live in around Northern Utah, so, there. As far as it being open, It really depends on how big it gets, and how much equipment we can get a hold of. If it get’s REALLY big, (Doubtful) then we just might rent a venue or something.

Urgh, I can still feel the sugar festering in me from Halo 4’s launch… HERE WE GO AGAIN

Damn, that’s too bad. I mean the Cherry Citrus flavor is awesome but I dunno about reppin’ the COD flagship.

Only 5 Stores in my area in 50 mile radius actually sell the 12 packs. I just picked up the last two at of the 5 stores. ^.^ Aww Yis!

I never got to enjoy MLG of sodas known as game fuel. Though I will the next time they bring it back.

Ive actually never tried Gamefuel.

Picked up a few cases of both flavors after work yesterday.
I played Killer Instinct for the first time with my friend yesterday, and brought (along with the Game Fuel) munchies… We had been hyped for this game ever since the E3 announcement, but we haven’t been able to play it until now due to scheduling conflicts and the time it took for me to get an Xbox One. As per the bro-code, we made a promise not to play the game until we both played it together. -Yoink- was hype, fun times were had, and way too many calories were drunk that night. Game Fuel is just a good-memory drink or something.
But, as far as the drinks themselves, my friend, who normally doesn’t drink or like Mountain Dew absolutely loved the Lemonade flavor. So if you’re like him, maybe give it a shot?

Nice grab! Did you get both flavors?
