How about a revival of H2 Playlist Rumble Armory

I remember very much enjoying the social FFA Rumble Armory Playlist back in the mid 00’s for H2MP, as it felt like the playing field was leveled and forced players to rely on their tactics of movement and map knowledge rather than pushing for power weapons or camo/OS stuff. Personally, I had some of the best firefights I can recall during the time in which Rumble Armory was active. I know our player count is comparatively lower than back in 2004-2008 so I do worry that it might further divide the player pool for FFA as is. Then again, perhaps it would breath a bit of life into it. Playing all Needle matches or rockets or Sentinel Beams, snipes, shottys, hammers/swords etc really forced me to familiarize myself with the subtleties of each weapon being that one was forced to acclimate or RIP respawn in peace. What do you all think of this?

FFA isn’t all that popular to begin with so adding a Social version would likely make the ranked version even more of a ghost town.

Perhaps add it as a TS social alternative alongside Super Fiesta in the Social playlist. A team game, then, where all players have the same exact random weapon, i.e, Rumble Rockets/Needlers/swords/plasma rifles or pistols etc., basically any weapons that are not already earmarked for other playlists. It remains a very interesting concept to me because it forced players to learn how to use the less effective weapons much more effectively, thus helping them in other gametypes should they get stuck with what is usually considered a weak weapon only to turn the tables due to becoming highly prolific with said weak weapons and often turning the fight around and being victorious. Always something I truly loved playing when it was in social FFA back in the old H2 days. Wouldn’t even need to be permanent. Just one of those gametypes they could consider rotating in for an occasional weekend special. I am sure there are customs done in this way but IBD if I can find anyone hosting who plays it seriously.
