If you’ve been paying attention to the Halo 5 Beta gameplay, you can see there is still reticle bloom for weapons such as the DMR, Magnum, and Assault Rifle. If you pay close attention you can also notice that when the player is shooting the DMR and Magnum as fast as possible, there’s still reticle bloom, but every time they shoot, the “reticle” inside the reticle goes back to its most accurate position and your shots are not going every where in games like Halo Reach and Halo 4. For the Assault Rifle, there is still bloom similar to Reach and 4 though. I’m really glad they’re ditching traditional bloom, but keeping the visuals which were really satisfying. What are your opinions on this?
As long as the weapon doesn’t become inaccurate because you’re using it as fast as it was meant to be used, that’s fine. Bloom in Reach was a total joke; a complete failure of a way to make shooting more “skillful” (when in reality it did the opposite).
If autos have bloom I really don’t care. This update on precisions, however, I’m thrilled with.
So then it pretty much aesthetic, just like Halo 4’s dmr, good.
yes its the way it should be in halo 4 and 5
reach was garbage
