Its simple the idea but the implementation would take lots of effort from 343i. BTW this post is coming from a member of OSIRIS so i know what stops farming.
Have you ever noticed that farming occurs a lot less on apex 7? Do you want to know why? well, its harder, doable but harder. That 3rd entrance adds more areas that the farming team needs to cover. At the moment enemy players can with trick jumping get up in the home base tower entrance but if they couldn’t farming would be almost eradicated from that map. So what 343i need to do to atleast with new coming maps if not current maps too is add more infantry exits from red and blue’s home base that the enemy cant enter from. This could be impossible to do effectively on linear maps but on others adding teleporters may work. For new maps 343i need to change the map designs they come up with to accommodate this.
This is the only way i can think to fix this farming issue. Even if in a never going to happen scenario that 343i removed the achilles requirement it would not fix the issue because players just want to kill things and not look for a new match every 7 minutes (rough average time we can destroy core in if we wanted to).
Feel free to add suggestions and ideas, as long as they arnt just "dont be farming D#$%s, OSIRIS grumble, grumble,grumble "
Or they could have made the armor be granted for the game mode comms instead of the kill comms which inherently promote farming for kills.
As a matter of fact one of the comms is for core destruction victory instead of get thousands of kills with x, y , z.
All of the game mode commendations are awards for playing the objective as intended, if that was the section being considered for Achilles I can guarantee you we would not be seeing this farming issue.
The only way to stop Kill farms is to make the armor & helmet unlocks that anyone could get out of req packs or remove the Kill requirement and replace it with wins or anything else that won’t be so insipid.

Capture the flag on breakout, destroy enemy core, etc etc, these are all objective and match win based, not kill based, they should of gone with these instead of the kill commendations.
Less linear maps and more exits would work the best while not altering WZ. However, players adapt and people need to understand that there is never going to be a solid solution.

You would need multiple teleporters since someone would camp the other end of just one.
Also they should have auto turrets on each base and orbital strike designators at req level 3.

Yes the consequences of making it a kill commendation where not well thought out. My solution is simple, as it can be realistically implemented with little tinkering from 343. They should speed up the base capture point accumulation after all three based are captured. The game will be over much quicker.

They wont do it with gamemode commendation because it would enrage the people who have put many, many hours into the kills. Also more importantly not all regions can find people in the different game types. For example Australia’s breakout, warzone assault and free for all population is always 0, BTB matches are only found on weekends at peaktimes if your on a lucky day. So no company based in those regions would even beable to get Achilles.

My idea is a teleporter in home base transfers you to another area of the map that is a safe zone. It would be like a cave or something on strombreak that has a permanent shield door that is not disabled even when you are triple capped. This would allow a safe place to go and try to fight your way back into the game. Perhaps on storm break add this cave near the warden spawn or something.
Add one near wraith spawn on noctus, and Arc just needs a lot of work, but a cave near the side of where warden spawns may work.
Of course these teleporters only activate when you are triple capped in the first place so it wouldn’t change map flow in the beginning of the game.
My suggestion for fixing Achilles farming is creating another armor set for people to grind.
The requirements for that armor would be individually destroying 20 cores. Twenty is not so much that it would feel unattainable, nor too low that everyone would immediately get it.
It takes a whole team to farm in Warzone, but all we need is one guy to blow the core. Let’s use people’s selfishness in our favor.
Of course 343 can just hunt down all the companies that farmed and reset their commondations and remove their Achilles if they have it. If they farm again then bans would be given out. If they farm a third time then the company would be disbanded.
