how 343 managed to ruin ranked ffa in days… how putting small matches and 8 players is a good idea for ffa? it is not fun anymore. Either I spawn and get killed or get like 15 assists instead of kills. boring and annoying

If you want to win you have to play cheap. Only shoot at people when they’re low shields, steal kills, camp, run from fights, the works.
FFA ironically is not about winning 1v1 fights all game. Trying to challenge for 1v1 fights just gives a 3rd party player a free double kill.

This is pretty standard for Free For All matches in every single game out there. You’re best bet is to pray on people actively engage with someone else and go for finishing blows on both of them.

Really showcases how inconsistent the game is. Lots of encounters where ping is king.
It’s sad to see they made ranked FFA 8 players… FFA should be only six players. It truly does become luck of the spawn once it’s eight players. I may sadly uninstall Infinite. 343 sure does have their work cut out for them if Infinite is going to last, especially if it truly is supposed to be a “ten year” platform.

Agree I have won matches of free for fall by engaging if two enemies are fighting each other sometimes I killed both of them sometimes not.

8 person FFA is a huge mistake imo. The maps are designed to handle that volume of players, sure.
But the spawn system isn’t designed to account for 7 enemies on the map, so you’re never being spawned anywhere that’s safe for more than 3 seconds.
idk why they changed it tbh. im literally spawning in between two people and die instantly

why?
because i don’t like the ffa they made. i want the ranked ffa to have a assault riffle start with BR. i am not interest in playing HCS setting… literally everyone is gonna use BR anyway , so its should not be a problem.
i am aware the non ranked FFA have this, but i want the playlist to be ranked… and i don’t want all these oddball game…
its the first halo , ffa playlist dont have AR gun.
my suggestion keep the FFA ranked from the moment…but change it to 6 players…
but put the other ffa playlist with AR start and ranked and 8 players…
ranked playlist should not only be HCS playlist… team swat and team sniper should be ranked too.
Yep 100% correct, ffa has always been this way in every fps I’ve ever played. Some people just don’t know clearly, it’s nothing new.
