How 2 Film a Halo 2 Machinima

  • Boot up the MCC - Once you’ve reached the start menu, hit start - Navigate to and select Custom Games - Halo 2 - Halo 2 Classic - Select Map - Select Slayer - Turn off teams - Turn on the Blind Skull - Set Primary and Secondary weapons to None - Choose whether or not to provide players with grenades - Choose whether or not to have weapons/grenades be placed on the map (this will auto-pick up on approach when empty-handed) - Choose whether or not to have vehicles on the map - Make further customizations as you see fit - Start the game - Load up the Xbox’s game recording service and set to record when ready****Happy filming!

No one is going to use this, are they?

I’ll probably never use this but it’s nice of you to inform me of how to do it incase I ever do! I always use the blind skull on campaign for screenshots.

It should also be noted that holding the left trigger while not carrying grenades makes your character lower their weapon.

Only for halo 2 or does it work for other games?

Only Halo 2. For others, much more complex button combos need to be used.

I think it’s different for each one, so just look for tutorials online. I don’t have the combos memorized.

These are the methods for lowering your weapon across all titles. I’m not sure if MCC changed the rule of not allowing people to use the combos outside if local play.
