This is more of a rant to vent some frustration but feel free to respond. So, last week I was playing SWAT. I’m average I’d say. I hover around 1.00 K/D. Plus or minus a little. HOWEVER, on this fateful day I COULD NOT BE STOPPED!! Everything hit its mark!! Almost every game I played that day I landed in the high teens for kills and single digit deaths. Multiple games I got above 20 kills and still remained in the single digits on deaths. Double kills! Triple kills! Overkills! Killtacular!!! Even a KILLTROCITY!! I was an ANIMAL!!!
Fast forward to this week. It’s as if I am a new born baby deer picking up a controller for the first time (You know… if deer could play halo and all.). Nothing is landing. My accuracy is WAY off. When I do kill someone it hasn’t been uncommon to need 3 shots to hit my mark. Seriously going like 4-12 or worse EVERY GAME.
So… anyone else have ups and downs like this? How do you cope with it?

Oh, well, then that’s not as impressive as I thought it was. But still impressive.

Yeah, it’s really frustrating. Even on my worst days I don’t do as bad as I have been doing though. These last few days have just been embarrassing. lol I don’t let bad games get to me but when it happens over and over again it’s hard not too.

Have you tried FFA? Lol, you’ll be raging after the first game. I always do. There is always someone behind you or spawn behind you.

I stay away from FFA anymore. I was decent in H3 and I tried it a few times on H5 and I’m garbage. lol That’s how I’ve felt in Swat lately. Soon as I spawn. BAM!!! Dead. lol

Yeah man it’s true, FFA was the playlist I got champ in and boy was it annoying. You can control/predict spawns to a certain before its outta’ hand. The playlist is in need of a refresher.
There’s just a hot mode that turns on. It happens, I’m no sniper, but I was taking off heads in shotty snipes. Our team was barely keeping up then I just got hot out of now where and started Snapshotting, hardscoping and just playing smart, taking out the entire team constantly for a short moment.
I definitely understand the hot and cold streaks. Some games are great. It’s like you can’t be stopped. Other times it feels like your getting dropped as soon as you spawn. Can get frustrating for sure lol. It can be a struggle to just break even or go positive.

Times like this I just assume it’s my eyes and hands getting tired. Not as spry as I used to be in my “old” age. lol It’s usually a sign that I need to take a break for a few days and come back well rested. lol. This time though it has just been so much worse than usual.
