In every game Halo or Not people always say HOST or you had host or it was my host - and there’s ways to tell in Halo 3 and Halo Reach although I don’t think most understand how to tell .
So lets make it simple
The HOST for the game is determined in post lobby and when the game starts it shows ALL players abdul what Team they’re on SIMPLE JUST PUT THE HOST on Top .
everyone would see that its
{ insert name of Host } and that way there’s no confusion about it …
This would not matter or change anything its just a little more info for the players to have / some might like it to others it is a stupid idea

It would also be nice to know who I should direct anger at when there is a really terrible connection.

And in custom games it would help alot as well .
I find it easy to tell if you’re host in Reach, if your bloom resets on spawn you’re host.

Sometimes, it’s not quite so easy to tell who has host if you’re not it, though.

I never really care unless the connection is bad, then just wait till everyone goes yellow besides the one guy still green.

Agree some maybe even most people can tell – But this would make it 100% easy and perfect for all to be able to tell
It wouldn’t add or take anything away from the game it would just add a simple rule to the host story
If its possible, I don’t see why not. If the host is on blue team, blue team is on top with the host being the top slot.
Granted, I’m not familiar if this is possible let alone determining a host if a host swap could possibly occur before the match starts.

I agree, although I think they should have an icon or background colour change, even when you see the scoreboard in game.
There is no reason to not have this information highlighted in online gaming. Players cheat and DDOS anyway, also anyone who does that sort of cheating is quite capable of seeing the host IP in simple network monitoring tools. Once again just show us who is host.

Yeah a icon or symbol next to the name in post game stats
Should be easy to add
This idea is simple and would be a nice bit of information for others

See who is host at the start or every game would be great
And it doesn’t seam like it would be hard to add into the system although im not sure as I haven’t made any video games
