What would you all think of a Horror Halo game do you think in a game such as this we would play as a regular marine a ODST or a half powered Spartan maybe a Spartan 3
If Halo was to explore the horror genre then I would prefer to play as a marine or ODST rather than a Spartan. I think being a Spartan would take away the horror somewhat from the game by knowing I could just plough on through it. By playing as a marine or ODST, someone who isn’t enchanced, would give you the feeling of vulnerability and more susceptible to what the game throws at you.
I hate to be that guy but I think this belongs in (community-general discussion)
Guess I wouldn’t be against it. I could see how it could work and would be interesting to be a Marine when they first encounter the Flood. However I will say I don’t enjoy Halo near as much when I am not a Spartan. ODST was ok but it’s just not as fun not being a Spartan. If there is another Halo spin off style game I would like to see an entire Covenant based game where you are am Elite in thier Civil War on Sanghelios or something like that.
A Halo game where you play as a marine or ODST (or even a spartan with no shields because his armor has broken) and need to survive to the flood? It would be awesome!

Yes the flood do need to return in a Halo game but it would also be interesting if there was a new enemy as well maybe something even the flood are afraid of
A Halo horror spinoff focused on the flood would be sick.

i feel like a unique concept would be paying as a marine trying to escape the flood (in H3), or a civilian on reach trying to escape the covenant
