Hey all is it just me or is the ranking system in this game just complete trash… I just won 9/10 slayer games and ranked only to diamond 4. I honestly feel that I should’ve gone higher with that many games won. Last season I won 7/10 and got onyx. It makes no sense to me. It’s like more u lose the higher u rank up. Not a huge deal to be honest but it makes me feel like I shouldn’t even try and I’ll get a better rank. Let me know what u guys think thanks!

The placement matches rank you on individual performance coupled with wins. So if you were getting outperformed in those games by high diamond and onyx players, you would place into ~diamond 4. AFTER that, it’s all about winning games to rank up. You’ll gain more rank for winning against better teams, and lose more for losing against worse teams, etc.
