Halo matchmaking has become the BIGGEST joke. It is horrible the past year. Consistent unever matches… Just finished another 100-25 loss. And I am well above average, but these guys are WELL beyond me. How they end up playing me (as one of the top ranked) and those beneath me is DUMBFOUNDING… I just dont get how they could make it so amazingly poor after all these years.
It saddens me…

Follow that up the next match… 3-1 capture the flag loss. Where they LET us score one flag. They outkilled us about 90 to 30. Another everyday game in 343 land.
As time goes on, the population lowers and the spectrum of players it matches you with widens, you can adjust the parameters to be more balanced but it will lengthen your search times.
Dont be dumbfounded, it can’t match you with people that are not playing.

I understand that… but on the fourth game I just played we lost 3-0 again. Kills 80ish - 30ish… again…
I look at player rankings. Opposing team has 3 players NOT 140+. My team has two player over 100. The rest of my team is 50 -100 in rank. Simple math tells you that this match is gonna be a bloodbath…

Well the SR is more an indicator of how long someone has spent on the game.
Objective game types are heavily team based, you aren’t going to win very often if you’re a group of 4 with no communication. I mean, every once in a while you will, but even a team of not so skilled players using basic communication is going to beat you almost every time.
Add some people that play regularly and party up when you can. I play a decent amount but don’t like to “go hard”, feel free to add me and invite me when I’m on, but if you’re expecting me to give 150% then I’m sorry. I play for fun
