Hornets are too strong (reduce health)

I had three games today and noticed players are exploiting the hornets I had 6 vultures, 6 anti aircraft batteries tanks, 4 anti aircraft batteries at my base. Players had about 30 to 40 of them attacking me. Its a joke i only destroyed half of them with this firepower. And there so easy to build you get them as soon you have an aircraft building.

What do you mean you “Played today”. Did you get it early, you are very lucky my friend. Digital buyers like me, not so much. As for your request, I agree with you. Hornets are a little op. But with the right counter, they can be defeated. Hopefully 343/CA will change this and all the other nags in future updates.

Yes i got it early. I love the game so far only issue i noticed at this time is the hornets. The counter should be anti-air, but they are way too strong now they most have got a buff since the first beta.

I now this sounds weird but I think the scarabs need a buff, they have to get so close to attack. So i believe that 343/CA will fix these things.

I don’t know i just used the human factions so far, starting using aliens factions with time.

I think issues like these need to wait until a few weeks after release when people at least get the feel for the game and units and stuff.

Also what you said makes sense about having a few anti-air things and being attacked by what sounds like a full pop of hornets. If the hornets focus them down then they die quick so you have to have more if you scout and know they are going for a full pop of air.

The banshees are overpowered too along with Hornets. Played with 1 guy last night destroyed one guys base. We then launched an attack with a full force me and him and the other guy beat us back using a fleet of banshees. They really need to sort out the firepower or the health of these units.

In my experience nothing is overpowered in this game. Everything has effective counters. In the car of a hornet rush you should be making lots of wolverines for the unsc or marines as they both deal good amounts of damage to air units. The same goes for banshees. Learn to scout your opponent from time to time to see what they are making.

Well that was just a game or two and besides. Aren’t Hawks not in this game? If that’s the case then it would make sense to buff hornets with no possible hawk upgrade.

i literally barely start getting a army together and at least two ultimates.

I would have to disagree with you that hornets are OP. They cost 375 supplies and require tech 2 to build. A wolverine on the other hand costs 150/170 and can be built very quickly to attack air. You Only had 6 wolverines against full pop air. That’s your first problem. You needed more. Also, vultures are weak against air.
