ok I know 343i has maybe heard this request a million times over but I just want to air my opinion out here the hornet and the falcon one currently cannon wise decommissioned by UNSC after reach campaign the other established as widely used and model was used to make halo 2A multiplayer a little more challenging and fun now the falcon a very fun vehicle to fly in reach came in multiple variant such as chaingun, emp nades and of course the pilots main gun but mostly somehow disregarded as mostly an easy triple or double but people forget that it could dominate in the right hands it took team co-operation like a warthog but in the air as from a cannon POV it is an old decommissioned vehicle used during the reach campaign (duh everyone knows this except for the people who’ve only played halo 5) now why add it because what if Spartans where long term stuck on a planet and maybe one of the only modes of transportation was a falcon then as some time past the created and their promethean forces showed up and attack any hostile threats like the Spartan fire team after a long battle and the falcon getting downed a pelican rescue team sent from infinity to retrieve them and are successfully extracted and as they get debriefed they tell of how reliable the falcon was in their essential survival and tell as the weapon systems though outdated were easy to understand and as they made a stand against the created forces for extraction and an engineer gets an idea of the Spartans tale of what if they added it to the war games simulations incase a situation ever arises like that just like the jul 'mdama simulation in the firefight scenarios and the overwhelming response to make it a permanent addition was put through people disappointed that it didn’t make it into the memories of reach update would be somewhat satisfied. Now on the topic of the hornet was a very fun air vehicle to fly in halo 3s campaign and multiplayer lore wise still very much in use heck we see some in empire and other urbanized areas it was added in to halo 2A multiplayer on I believe the remade blood gulch map ( I call it blood gulch cause RvB and halo ce) as such can’t one or the other or maybe in the forseeable future of halo 5s not ended life cycle cause halo 6 is still in development I don’t know what it takes took possible make models and tweak them to be used in warzone voice opinions if you want or just think its just dumb
OP, you may want to make paragraphs…or at least at TLDR.
Periods and paragraphs, please.
My head hurts.
You’re right, we have heard this a million times.
A Falcon would be near useless outside of Forge, unless it’s made OP (like the Campaign version), since it’ll have to rely on its passengers or it’s main cannon to do something.
The Hornet relied too little on the passengers, since they had such a small field of view and they had their own weapons to fight with.
That with the game’s low skybox on Warzone maps, and people not liking to be in passenger seats to begin with, people would just complain as soon as we get it.
I just wish the Wasp was a bit stronger in terms of maneuverability and weapon accuracy/effectiveness.
I think the Wasp should be kept in Halo 6 as a ‘lesser’ air vehicle (think a lower ‘tier’ as opposed to say a Phaeton) and a stronger UNSC air vehicle (ie Sparrowhawk or Hornet) should be considered as a heavier assault air vehicle to rival the Banshee and Phaeton.
Wasp replaced falcon in this game. All we need is a falcon now with the air vehicle side of things.
sorry will work on paragraphing and correct punctuation.

but what if they both hit a middle ground. the falcon could have a small armor upgrade so it can take hits but not many. the pilot gun variant could do the same amount as a warthog chaingun could same could be said with the base variant. Now the hornet could for the passengers could have a better FOV. The sky boxes are as you said low but maybe ‘a’ map focused around large sky box could work.
also why complain about passenger and/or gunner positions we already have useless scout warthogs that half the time get blown to bits along with the mongoose/gungoose so why complain about something that requires cooperation.

And who said game designers never tweaked/changed ideas? 343 appear to be rather good at that. Just they could do it to the falcon.
