So today I was looking around some sites at Halo 4 preorder bonuses and found this over at Play.com. At first I was thinking ‘no way, it must mean Series 4’, and not the game Halo 4. But if you take a look at the key features tab, it clearly says ‘Halo 4 die cast vehicle with moving parts’.
So I’m not really sure what to make of it, I loved the Hornets in Halo 3, but with Falcons about, would they really make a return?
There was a couple other posts about it. It was actually under the label “Halo 3 Hornet and Figures”. So it’s not confirmed, but I would still like to see it return even though there are already Falcons. Welcome to Waypoint.
I see no reason as to why they cannot coexist. 343i made the BR and the DMR coexist. This shouldn’t be any different. Make both vehicles be better suited for different maps, or make them even more different from each other.

It is still possible for the Hornet and Falcon to coexist. Maybe make the hornet a lighter vehicle, while making the Falcon a heavier vehicle?

Thanks, I searched for a thread, but I only found people discussing whether it should be in the game or not (which it should!). As THEscourse said, they could have different purposes, for example a Hornet might be used instead of a Falcon in CTF, because of the open standing of the passengers.

I don’t remember that. It said an old favorite, the Halo 3 Hornet, which was in the same list with halo 4 figurines.

They do look really good. I like the new ghost too and how they have LED lights around the rim over the controls…smexy!
I hope we have them both, but with the Hornet with less powerful missiles and the Falcon with use of the two middle seats to make it a true troop transport.
