Horizontal/Vertical Sensitivity

When I look left to right it’s normal but up and down is extremely slow no matter what sensitivity I play on. This is terrible.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

Yea its terrible. You jump down on someone, you won’t look up in time, you …just…can’t

I was wondering if anybody else was as frustrated about this as I am. I browsed through the forums here and to my surprise, I saw no one else discussing it.

Its hard to notice when no one can play but yea you will hear plenty more about it

Y axis sensitivity has always been lower than X sens. Well at least for Halo 1 and Halo 2. I’m not sure about H3 and 4.

Hey if more people notice this, I haven’t but I will keep an eye out, 343i will take care of it.

I understand with all the other problems people are having, this will be a pretty low priority issue but needs to be addressed nonetheless.

You are correct, it’ll be a low priority right now.

But there are quite a few controller setup glitches so hopefully they look at them all holistically instead if patching one at a time.

If I remember back in the day this problem existed as well. I believe it was actually a problem with the controller itself, not with the game. The controllers were factory but something with the joystick, try looking up “slowturn controller”.

So this is still pretty much keeping me from enjoying the game. I really don’t want to have to take this back if it can be easily patched/fixed. So can I hear from anyone else on this topic before I make a decision? Thanks a lot.

I experienced a variation of this first hand for the first time yesterday. Normally I play with my sensitivity around 6-7 and in halo 1 because i’m mainly using the pistol zoomed in i drop it back to five.
But yesterday in a game of Halo 3 the game was all out of wack I had to drop my sensitive down to 1 to even be able to play. WAY too sensitive.
First time this has happen on a Halo 3 map for me it may have been that particular level because it was my first time playing that one in this game.

That sounds very strange. I’ve almost always played on 3 (default) for every single Halo and I never experienced this issue until I played TMCC on the Xbox One. Your problem seems to be the opposite of mine. You say it’s too sensitive but for me it’s too slow while looking up and down. Keep me posted on your experience with your problem.

I have been experiencing this too. except the X axis is slow and my y-axis is fast no mater what I do the sensitivity will only change the y axis going fast/slow I WOULD LOVE A FIX. I go to other games like Battlefield 4( w/ other games too) and the sensitivity is fine all nice and high(how I like it), exept for this game and the worst part is, It is for all the halo’s that come with the collection. What sucks even more is that this bug isn’t a big issue because we select few have this degrading problem witch means it will be fixed last if at all in the first place. Degrading as in: One of my friends told me while we were playing Halo 2 multiplayer once and I quote: “Holy s*** bro, Your such a F****** scrub. Bottom of the team w/ 5 kills and 30 deaths. Get your S*** together” Not only is this depleting my multiplayer experience but my K/D as well.

This happens to me too, I play on 10, but when I’m playing Halo 4, and someone is falling from using their jetpack, my character goes soooo slow, I can’t… I seriously just can’t . Vertical turning is fine though.

I notice this especially in Halo 3, but haven’t really had a problem with it since i moved from sens 3 to sens 4

Still having this issue to this day. Has anyone discovered a fix?
