The Spartan laser in Halo Infinite would be sick

Check this guy out on Youtube. He just posted a new video a few hours ago going through some of the releases. including a sweet shield/double edge blade on the Silent Shadow character.

The Selene’s Lance is easiest to use, but not the only usable laser. The standard laser is still really good, you just have to account for the longer charge time, which is still a pain.
I’d also would love to see the Spartan Laser in Halo Infinite as well. Perhaps in Infinite, it can do 10 shots which can imply the upgrading of the Spartan Laser sometime between Halo 5 and Infinite.

Its actually balanced, because in BTB by the time you fire it they’re already behind a rock
I hate the Spartan lazer… lol
But I’m pretty sure you have nothing to worry about there, it’s been in every game since 3 and I doubt it’s going anywhere soon.

Rockets have firing travel time laser is instant. Laser is the worst thing they could have added to Btb
If you had made this post back before Halo Infinite news I would have laughed at you for assuming 343 would throw out an iconic part of the weapon sandbox, however 343 has already proved me wrong with the magnum and shotgun and so this post has actual relevance as 343 could toss out the splaser. I hope they don’t but I wouldn’t be surprised if they did.
I’m pretty sure it will show up. It could use some work though, like it will only charge up if you’re aiming at an enemy. The targeting laser is supposed to let your opponent know that he’s getting shot, but people are just aiming at a rock until the moment before it fires.
