Hoping for a Reach like progression system

And by Reach like progression system, I mean how everything you did in game counted towards your overall progression. Having that in Reach was such a nice quality of life improvement.

I really hope so too and as I recall there have been comments to imply it too (or am I getting confused with MCC progression? - either way I see MCC as a testbed).

Excluding campaign from contributing to progression is a needless oversight for me. Sure, it shouldn’t be the main mode your play if you care about progression, but it definitely should count (especially if other PVE modes like WZFF do).

Commendations to cover all modes (including campaign) is another easy win - I loved the Reach commendation system and I just don’t see why it’s been reduced.

As far as unlocks go , I’m ok with commendations , but the inevitable upward grind is horrible. The multi player absolutely needs a skill based ranking system. IMO.
Honestly commendations were one of the better ideas for unlocks not tied to progression , but the introduction of Spartan Ranks in Reach is what I think holds it back , didn’t care for any iteration of it after Reach either.

I thing the ranked plays list should have SBMM but it should be taken out of casual. I don’t need another Halo 5 where every match I played is a sweat feast.

Agreed , easier to play a casual game competitively than to play a competitive game casually.

I agree just as long ranked playlists have a 1-50 system again with either no seasons or have longer seasons.

I miss the credit system, it was good in my opinion.
