So supposedly Frankie is commenting on neogaf. http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?p=138727444#post138727444. I don’t hang around there enough to know if its legit or not but the comments being made about the issues, describe them as being " literally all connected to issues that weren’t visible in test. ." Hearing something like this makes me want to not return my game because, I get it, things came up. Hearing just what we get on the forums that its "being worked on ", makes me want to spew obscenities and skip my game across a lake because it sounds like a hollow pr garbage which amounts to “deal with it”. I get that either way no one wants the game to be in such a state, but with the amount of comments in this forum it seems most people are of the idea that this game had little to no QA done. So please, if you are going to make comments that are upfront and direct about what is going on, please do so in the actual game forums. If that’s not actually him, then please add some comments anyway that resemble fireside chats where you treat your fans like reasonable rational people instead of listing updates that give us the assumption that you are just scurrying to cover your mistakes.

It’s called lying lol, you really think a company would admit to rushing a game out the door?
If the game was ‘rushed’ 343 had nothing to do with it. It’s the publisher. Blame MS.
It was obviously rushed in order to try and get more XB1 sales since they are way behind in the “console war” if we can even still call it that. They are actually getting trounced. Halo was obviously going to be their trump card, but with this debacle who knows where things stand coming this Christmas. Will people really want to fork money over for a Halo Box that can barely play Halo? What other exclusives are worth the wait for the XB1 aside from Quantum Break and Halo 5? Maybe Fable? Crackdown 2 was just a upgrade of crackdown 1 and nothing really changed and I see the same thing for the XBone version. I love Halo and will continue to play it, but my PC and PS4 are just winning every aspect of this game race.
I work in the IT industry and have extensive experience with software releases.
Trust me when I say this: if these bugs weren’t even discovered before release, that is more of a failure, not less.
Every single project releases with bugs. You don’t wait until they are all fixed; it simply isn’t feasible. But a huge role in a project is a QA Lead’s position of making sure that all testable scenarios get properly tested. If these problems didn’t present themselves in test, it means it was a failure from a testing strategy standpoint.
