Hopes/Predictions for Halo 5's Story/Characters

Here’s some of mine:

  1. Make Palmer likable. Please. They portrayed her as someone who really doesn’t seem fit to be Commander of the Spartans.
  2. Make Jul Mdama a better villain before he dies. He seems to be pretty interesting in the books, but little of that shows through in Spartan Ops. The Didact kind of suffered from a similar treatment. (Just a guess on Jul’ dying btw) I can only assume he’s gonna get the ax. Between Locke’s Team and the Arbiter. He’s pretty screwed. Not to mention the Warden Eternal might take away control of the Prometheans from him.
  3. Make Chief have a “Cortana moment” in front of his teammates. Leaving them to question his mental state. Would be the most amazing cringe moment ever.
  4. Please bring back the Didact in some way shape or form. He really got the short end of the villain stick and deserves a little better than he got.
  5. Lasky seems like he’s on a good track. Keep up the good work.
  6. Make Chief and Arbiter meet up. It needs to happen.

Especially Palmer. I wanted to like her but Halo 4 was kind of a bad introduction. Escalation has been a hit or miss with her for me. Lasky on the other hand is just to damn likeable. Plus I kind of want to see Spartan Thorne return.

I know this gets a little deeper into fanfic territory but what if Halsey helped Jul’ make some augmented Elites? Would be cool.

I think a more realistic scenario would just be Covenant troops outfitted with Promethean weapons and equipment. Halsey doesn’t exactly have the tools or likely even biological knowledge to make Spartan Elites.

Very true. But she does have the knowledge. Although I guess that means nothing without the tech.

As for Elites outfitted in Promethean stuff. That would be cool. But I wonder… Do you think the Warden Eternal will wrestle away control of the Promtheans from Jul’? I assume that’s something that is going to occur pretty early on.
