Hope the NEW map is from Halo 2

I seriously hope that the new map is from halo 2 or halo 2 vista.

Halo 2 had WAY better maps then halo 3. (BTB maps especially)

It has nothing to do with Mexico so does this rule out a sandy map.
I’m guessing that it does.

If it has nothing to do with sand or it being hot then could it be the opposite.
What if it was extremely cold instead of hot…Containment maybe?

Map facts:
Its a map that is BIG.

Has nothing to do with Mexico

So it could be Containment, relic, terminal or Zanzibar.

Could it also be uplift from halo 2 vista since it has a large portion of water and could
be a good map for the new water vehicles that haven’t been announced.

My bet is that its an old halo map since its so secret. Honestly sandtrap wasnt that great of a map. It was very plain and open. I also hated playing capture the flag because the base was the elephant.

I want to see a great map return that made halo where is today. I would love to see relic, containment or even terminal return. I guess nobody really knows until more clues are given.

I still am not seeing where it was confirmed that the map was ‘BIG’.

It’s not ‘small’, but that just means it may play for both 4v4 AND 8v8. I’d imagine 343 wouldn’t want to dedicate their only remake to one playlist, so I think it’s safe to assume they want one that will work for 4v4, 1 flag, Snipers, BTB, FFA, etc.

But I am also hoping it’s a Halo 2 map. We can still play Halo 3, and a lot of Halo 1’s maps were remade.

Halo 2 maps were remade in Halo 3 even though we could still play Halo 2 on live. That as a reasoning for it not to be a Halo 3 map is flawed.

And the clue specifically has nothing to do with Mexico, so it doesn’t rule out sandy maps.

In all honesty, I think it’s Longshore. I don’t want it to be, but I think that is where the clues point.

Im still hoping for Turf or Terminal. I hope it’s from Halo 2 as well!!
