Hope if we go to the Ark

There’s countless theories that Master Chief is on the Ark looking for Mendicant Bias for some reason. I think this very well happen, I also hope if this happens we might get to see something else. If we are heading to the Ark again, I hope we get to see the Guardian sentinel. This was originally meant for Halo 3, but was cut from the final game. I hope if we do go back, we’ll get to see different environments on the Ark, where this sentinel rests. Would you want to see the Guardian sentinel if we are returning to the Ark?

Man, reading the cite note IGN article on that page made me really wanna see EVERYTHING that they cut from Halo 3.

Oh wow! I would love to see the Guardian Sentinel in the next Halo game! Just imagine that bad boy coming at you.

The Guardian Sentinel would be pretty fun to fight, but I can’t imagine how it would compare to the Seeker that was in the teaser.

Speaking Mendicant Bias, does anyone else think that the tower that Epitaph and Citadel take place on may mark his tomb or be related to it?

Perhaps Mendicant Bias’ tomb is the secret of Sandtrap.

“Epitaph: Noun: a commemorative inscription on a tomb or mortuary monument about the person buried at that site; a brief poem or other writing in praise of a deceased person.”

Epitaph could very well be Mendicants “tomb”, a monument to his sins. Or anyone’s tomb, really, but it’d be neat if it was Bias’s.

I’d certainly say that connection is possible since both are on the Ark, but I do not recall a giant tower being built over where Bias was buried.

I would want it to be located elsewhere on the Ark. This would allow for different terrains on the Ark we didn’t see in Halo 3, as well as the kinds of sentinels are located there.

Guardian Sentinel could be cool, but just how big are they?

If two of them were escorting a keyship in Origins, they’d be pretty big, right? Certainly too big to rip out the eye as a weapon, right?

IIRC, Rebirth ended before the Forerunners had actually left the Ark and went wherever they did (probably Path Kethona). It’s possible that the tower was built after he was buried, marking the tomb.

Well both the tower and his tomb are described as being in deserts.

I would want them to kinda use the environment of the map Guardian, somewhat different. I would have the sentinel lurking in the jungle/swamp, and you would battle it. In the mission that was scrapped, Master Chief was going to rip out the eye beam of the sentinel and then use it as a weapon. I think this would be a great moment if they added this.

True, I suppose even Sentinels need a hobby.

Sentinel: “Gee, who can I kill to give me some feels during this galactic nap?”
