Agreed, not worth the cost or the “title” of Hero
It depends. If your opponent doesn’t have stealth detection, he is essentially invincible.

Yea. well, I feel the same way.
The Brutes can attack more units with one swing.
Have more reach, or at least can close the distance with some kind of vortex.
At least one got a Cool aura, or can stun units.
The Ship-Master aka Honor Guard, is Way faster and has the Power to be invisible, what makes him a pretty good scout.
But the cost to produce him and Upgrade him, is Way to high for that, when u actually need him.
If he would have some Back hit ability, like the Arbiter in the first Game-Halo Wars, maybe this would be enough.
dunno what do other ppl think?
He should one shot every infantry unit types (other than hero units)
isn’t it the exact purpose of those blades anyway?

I can’t speak for myself due to not even trying to figure that unit out yet but it does seem that in the current META the Honor Guard is not used at all.

But he’s a hero unit and is used as a glorified scout in the early game but as soon as they get detection he falls off. I use him to backdoor bases occasionally but that’s it.

Then he done got countered =| every unit has a counter, that’s basic knowledge.
in my opinion there are no hero units in this game. to me hero units are lesser super units. they need to bring halo wars 1 mechanics into this game where hero units are actually heroes (they need an army to kill them or a vampire), the hero units in this game just feel so weak that they are not even worth building until late game. and even in late game, i just put them in a garrison or something.

In comparison to the other heroes, yeah. He’s trash.
However, he can be very useful in the lategame. It’s completely pointless to build him before he has all upgrades, but when he does you can use him for some fun shenanigans. For example, I use him to open teleportation nodes ontop of the enemy base safely. He’s also excellent at sniping minibases and turrets.

He’s slow, but he has useful splash damage, a stun, and a Y ability that does a drastic amount of damage. He’ll destroy base infantry.

I don’t know, that hammer pull has always come in handy for me
His ability to sneak up to siege and allow me to teleport or displace them is honestly amazing.
Really the only thing I ever used him for was speeding up to enemy bases and dropping scout mines/teleport my army. That’s about all he’s good for.
