Has anyone ever switched to classic mode to see a graphical difference, then forgot and kept playing in classic mode and didn’t realize until the end cutscence and thought “oh yeah” … the game is just that good
It’s Halo CE, this game never gets old, always good looking and still fun 
Kind of. I prefer playing with the updates graphics though
Playing CEA in classic mode looks works worse on my screen than just playing my old copy of CE on the 360. I’m not entirely sure why, but I’m guessing its a compromise for having 2 graphics engines running.
I generally prefer the new graphics, except for stealth elites.
What looks aged in CE for the most part is the environments. They look very blocky with vague textures and so-so cubemap effects on metal surfaces. I like the new graphics because then it all looks so natural.
