Custom challenges. Why bother?

Do you remember the custom weekly challenge that awarded you with 5x the usual credits when you killed grunts in firefight? Two games would net you 30000 credits or more. If you don’t mind repetition you can do the sword base manuever, or you can do matchmaking if you have a team or are sure of yourself, or you can listen to children cheer in firefight. The real question is why wouldn’t you want to use them?

I’ve never bothered to check out these custom challenges. I don’t see the point. You get a few more credits for doing boring stuff when you could get almost just as much if you do well in MM. Tonnes of people on this forum seem to revolve arou d custom challenges, I just don’t get why!?

You can hit the cap in less than an hour, and essentially hitting the cap every day will allow you to get Inheritor in 100 days.

Won’t you get banned for doing this? Isn’t it considered “credit farming”?
However, I really do need some credits. My Reach disc is broken (Campaign works 70% of the time), so I play on my CEA. My Xbox Live ran out and I have no intention of getting it back until Halo 4 or Borderlands 2. I also have things to do like school, and playing music. Does this method still work? Have you tried it?

I’d really like to become an Inheritor by Halloween.

I don’t see what’s bannable about it, farming is completely allowed, boosting isn’t.

Or lack of Skill based system

I do understand some enjoy this .

But its not for me .
