When you create a game, it does have to be polished, I grant you that we expect more than the previous generation. Do not get me wrong, I have had my hates with 343i, however I prefer to construct them into a organised argument for and against. I like to show why I like/hate this particular section and why I hate it, and base it to something I do like/hate. Essentially, unorganized arguments about free updates or stats does not help anyone, it just further us from each other as a community.

You have a group of individuals passionate enough about a series that they’re willing to go out of their way to talk about it and fiercely defend thoughts that they believe will make the series better. Yeah, people actually do create well-reasoned and rational threads discussing why they like or dislike a game, but curiously they never get very far and sink to the bottom real quick or are just attacked as -Yoink- kissing and whining by people who don’t want to have a discussion but a fight.

To back this us, yesterday ^ and I had a discussion on the op of another thread, no hate was cool in the end. Yeah conflict isn’t great to watch it can get heated and negative but it can be healthy. This is a game of red vs blue so expect to see a red and blue side here too

That too. The only way to get a discussion going on the internet is to be on one extreme or the other. “Ways to improve the X” doesn’t go as far as “X sucks!”.

Good to hear that I am wrong/paranoid and all is well with you ^^ and yea I tend to “attempt” to follow snickerdoodles rules on those kinds of things, but I get how you feel.
I just wonder why 343 thought people were gonna be okay with them releasing half a game, we have about 60% of a halo game right now.

There’s s difference between “constructive” discussions/debates/arguments and pointless bantering. I think you missed what OP was on about.
“Halo 5 is -Yoink-, 343 are s bunch of bleep bleep who can’t make bleep, halo is so bleep, why do people still support this bleep you call devs?” That’s pointless…
h5 is a medicre game, it could use better spawning as its -Yoink-, more in detail post carnage reports, more maps, more game modes and playlists, a better UI, the current one is -Yoink-, more colors, meaningful armor unlocks, who invented the -Yoinking!- req system? , ect ect actually adds to helping the game.
Thats is what I understood from the OP, maybe I’m wrong but I feel exactly as he does, a lot of people may as well not be on here if they do what example one is. I’m perfectly ok with number two.
I think the only reason why we fight is because we genuinely want the game to improve. And if nobody complained, then nothing ever gets fixed.
Stop fighting? Fighting over generally trivial topics is what makes up a huge part of forums.
