Now I’m not here to troll the Halo nation or to give out. I here to express my opinion so that hopefully 343i will see it and add me to the list of disappointed fans.
Halo 4’s campaign was crap. I mean the ending - REALLY? What the hell were you thinking? “Press LT to **********” and thats it? Thats how you end it? These QTE ruin every game. It would have been better and much more satisfying if you used a well choreographed cut-scene then that BS. Overall the story was okay, but i just felt that it was way too short, QTEs ruined the beginning and end for me (They ruin immersion and the pace of the game IMO) and i just didnt have as much fun as i usually do in a Halo game, i didnt feel like i wanted to pick it up and play it again like i did with every other Halo.
The multiplayer is the worst I’ve ever seen. Just another CoD clone, just as i feared. The matches feel boring, repetitive and unbalanced. Not much more worth saying here. “CoD clone” and “disappointment” pretty much sum it up. It does NOT feel like Halo like every reviewer says.
The Forge is Reach + 10 objects in each undersized, restrictive level. Not much work done here at all. Extremely disappointed because i used to love forge.
Spartan Ops are meh. They’re very linear and have absolutely no replay value to them, you just run through the map, kill the enemies and thats it. Boring, but i like to keep up with the story.

Im sure you can tell im quite angry with how the game turned out, but im not looking for an arguement. Address my points or have a discussion with me about our opinions of the game. If you came here to give out then i dont want to hear it and i wont reply.

The campaign was ok, but the MM is a disaster for sure.

Yes how dare people voice their complaints on the forum? Especially since that is what the forums are intended for in order to provide 343 with feedback. How dare anyone complain about a Halo title ever, there are no problems with this game it is PERFECT.
While I have yet to finish the campaign, I’m not digging it so far. It seems as though 343i was pushing hard for a T from the ESRB, but ended up with an M for mellow.
MM is next to a disaster with AA’s, loadouts, ordinance, and join-in-progress. What used to make Halo great was that everyone started the match with the same equipment, and equidistant to power weapons. Not anymore.
That being said, Halo 4 is still a great game, just not great by Halo standards.

Do me a favor, and go back to where I said people COULDN’T complain. Tell me right now. I called someone a crybaby, but what was that in reply to? Oh right, ME being called an “ignorant fanboy.” I stopped reading after the statement the OP made, because no matter the flaws in this game, to say the entire campaign was “crap?” No, you don’t have to like it, but don’t state your opinion like it’s a fact. There’s a HUGE difference between saying “I didn’t like the campaign” and saying “the campaign was crap,” so you can take that bs somewhere else.
I agree this game is perfect. Couldn’t have made a better game. Takes me back to the Halo 1 days. Matchmaking feels great. I love how they simplified everything and didn’t jump on the bandwagon and add perks, loadouts, armor abilities, and etc etc. Weapons feel very balanced and I love how they didn’t introduce sprint into this game. Spawns are great. Playing the same 2 or 3 maps over and over is great, couldn’t ask for much more. I’m glad they didn’t bring back any classic Halo maps as well. Maybe at the least they’ll bring back Valhalla and weaken the man cannons.

I must admit that so far Halo 4 has been a disappointment… and I’d normally be moaning about it on these forums too.
Having said that I am loving the heck out of Spartan Ops episode 3. Really good fun, finally starting to see its potential.

Without getting too far OT, my point is still that the OP was opinion, and not fact. NO ONE THOUGHT THAT IT WAS FACT. With a thread title of “Honestly Disappointed with Halo 4,” the OP, and all posts thereafter, are going to be opinion. It’s simple, deductive reasoning.
