The global championship thing, I’m a little bit over average kind of spartan, I get alot of kills. For the GC, I got quite a few wins, but I also came in 2nd-4th place a few times. How exactly will this affect me?
Well I be able to have at chance at 1st place for the entire championship? Am I going to get some action figure now?

The people with any shot of winning will be getting close to maximum points. Chances of winning are beyond small even for the greatly skilled players.
Basically your gonna have to WIN around 40+ Games without losing to even be close to considered.

Unless you are PRO-or very near it, you can just about forget placing high enough to move on to the finals. This contest is about finding the BEST Halo players. Since there are so VERY FEW spots available, that means more than 99.95% of us just aren’t going to make the cut.

if you want an “easier” tourney, then they will have to exclude pros and anyone over a 1.5 k/d it will never happen.

Lol, are you serious, dude? You’re basically complaining that you don’t get prizes because you’re not good enough to win them. Does the NFL need to made a new, separate league so that everyone who enjoys playing football but isn’t good enough for the NFL can play and win Superbowl trophies?
Also, there will be 4500 prizes given away in the weekly drawings. Right now, there are only 4565 who are on the leaderboard and entered for the drawing. At this rate, you’ve at least a 10% chance to win something. That’s better than most candy bar sweepstakes.

expect? damn are you ten years old? demanding something you WANT will get you NOTHING and if your not satisfied with even a slight chance of winning a prize you should be happy, because most of us wint get anything for participating. its like you didnt pay an entry fee and are demanding a prize for nothing? ask your parents.

An easy tournament is a crappy tournament. No matter how it is, the pros will always win because it includes the whole community and for it to be something that a non-pro player can beat a pro player in, then it’s hardly a fair tournament then.

I have a better chance at winning the lottery than I do at winning this.
I won 30 games. Then I have a second, and fifth place in the mix. Which equals to me being out of the tourney. 
If it was up to me. I think instead of this point system. I would of based it around which top 4 players have the most first place finishes. To me that way if someone gets one second place finish with fifty wins. They don’t get beat out by the guy with twenty wins, and no losses. Is that person with twenty win’s truly better? Can they get fifty wins with only one loss? Either way it is what it is. I am just glad there doing something for the community.

Last I checked, there were 28 people with perfect records. Most of which have more than 20 games played, so those people who go 20-0 still don’t have a chance to advance.

Thank you for ENTIRELY MISSING THE POINT of a tournament.
A tournament is purely for the purpose of finding the best of the best out of a group of random people. I hate to say this, but if you lost, then that means you’re not some special person with these magical skills that make others bow in your wake. You’re the guy that got beat and has to drop out. No shame in saying that. In the end, the game’s the game, and it’s not like you lost money on this tourney.
