343 please oh please decrease the Max and minimum party size in Rumble pit to Regicide’s 4-6.
8 people is way to many people for these maps. Too much -Yoink- is going on. What makes you want to increase the playet count in rumble pit? They are both ffas with the same maps.
Having someone spawn directly behind you and 2 other team shooting you is really annoying. I feel that we are better off with 6 as a maximum for Rumble Pit like Regicide.
The game will play much better. Just because 4v4 can play fine on some of these maps, doesn’t mean 8 should be the maximum for RP. BTW, both blacksite and scythe are terrible maps.
Completely disagree. Having 8 people is what makes rumble pit what it is. The maps in Halo 4 are anything but small even the forged ones. Some of the best rumble pit games were on Warlock and Midship in H2 and Guardian in H3 which are smaller than any map in H4.
Completely agree with you, OP. Rumble Pit is the only source of classic FFA, however, the mechanics of H4 make it a total mess, absolutely choatic. I probably will never play it again, Regicide is leaps and bounds better and it’s a game half based on luck (i.e. who gets the lucky headshot).
What will satisfy people that like competitive FFA? Lone Wolves-type games.

Yeah, but this is halo 4,not halo 2 or 3. We deal with sprint, AAS, and Personal Ordnance. Guardian is the smallest map, but the rest were pretty much small-mid. To put plainly, the maps went along well with the gameplay. Their maps were intricate, though small. They allowed many spaces, doors, levels all in 1. Oh and instant respawn isn’t helping the prob, since the map doesn’t accompany that many people.
I honestly can’t think of a good reason why I am a god in regicide but hardly finish second in rumble pit other than the fact that there are just 2 more people in rumble pit.
Seriously half the time I’m playing rumble put I either get my kill stolen by someone, start fighting someone only to have another person come up behind me and kill me, or I just get ambushed by 2 or more people who for some odd reason seem to work together just to bring my -Yoink- down only to kill each other after I am dead.
> It should have a 6 player max count and JIP should be turned off. If these two changes went into effect imo it would make rumble pit extremely fun.
Agreed. While Rumble Pit always allowed up to eight players since Halo 2, it’s a matter of fact that Halo 4 plays quite differently, i.e. faster. Not only because of sprint being available to everyone at any time, but also because of armor abilities, and the recent TU resulting in generally quicker kills.

Yeah, I can pretty much relate. IMO, it’s because Regicide makes everyone move to a certain destination, that happens to be you. I like that people come towards me. It gives me a lot if chances to setup and keeps everyone moving. Oddly enough, I am king majority of the time, yet last longer than in Rumble Pit. Being the King is like bait for more kills. You can easily use your presence to draw in two or more people and have them weaken themselves for you to return and clean up
I always complained about Regicide not being regular ffa, because of the points being the focus. Now I’m starting to like and except it more. Thank God Infinity isn’t in Regicide.

AGREED! I was playing simplex yesterday and got a triple kill all from the same guy spawning in the same spot, this needs to stop. BTW I actually played a couple ffa’s with you ICE CREAM either last night or the night before and you whooped my tail, just on the side note.
> …just called you ice cream when your name’s ice TIME, epic fail on my part.

ON topic: I can understand what you mean, but I do not agree completely.
I play Rumble Pit often, usually with friends. And the chaos when 8 people are trying to kill each other is the thing why it should stay 8 people. The fun factor.
When I wan’t to play more competitive FFA, or one with less chaos, I go into Regicide.
But you mentioned a problem on 8 Players FFA: the spawning.
Rumble Pit just needs a it bigger maps, and it would be fine.
BTW love your (newer) username. Kuzan is the ‘coolest’
