I was a long time halo player until halo 4 ruined it. I really havent played halo or visited the halo forums since Destiny came out. Was on youtube today and just happened upon some halo 5 beta gameplay. I swear if the title didnt tell me it was a halo game I would never have recognized it as such. It seems as if you were operating a frigging robot or something from all of the funky sounds it makes. Didnt like any of the graphics either. I guess I will be a permament Destiny fan going forward. This will be the first halo game that I won’t even bother buying. See ya…wouldnt wanna be ya 343…

This just makes me sad, how Halo 5 differs so strongly from Halo that it drives away even long-time fans.

Well, since we’re being narcissistic and thinking other people care about our own choices, I’ll play both. Halo 5 for Halo story and gameplay and Destiny in search of its story.
So you watched a clip and it looked like someone was operating a robot. And you havent tried the beta at all? And you are a long time Halo fan? Well then thank god I wont be seeing you during the beta and when the final game comes out because all the fake “long time fans” out there can stay on Halo 2 and 3 and refuse to change

destiny gameplay is actually superb, the lore and generally grindiness is annoying but still the gameplay is far superior to halo 5 gameplay.

You’re telling me it’s ok for Destiny to have sprint, hovering, teleport, and double-jump but if Halo has sprint it’s garbage?

LOL…I am positive I have already played this game more than you ever will…especially after seeing how H5 is going to be…
lets see…5 star in H3 with over 10k exp…inheritor in reach with all commendations…SR130 in H4 with all commendations (even though I hated it)…not to mention my world record legendary firefight title in ODST… Don’t speak of which you know not my little friend…
H4 drove me to destiny and H5 will keep me there…
