Hasn’t seen seemed this way for me… Kill cams mak it seem this way, but they are wonky IMO.
i haven’t been awarded a head shot unless I was on the money…
The sniper sucks donkey now. It’s way way to slow and why is it on a map like empire? It would be better on truth and the sword or rocket’s on empire.

People who talk about kill cams, I have seen myself literally shooting a little to the side of a guy and him dying, then I go like what the hell. Then I realized people barely miss with it in a bull***** way, it does have magnetism, just as other weapons too
I was killed last night by someone with a sniper. When I watched the kill cam it showed his reticle well off to the side of my left shoulder. Shoulda been a clean miss, but it hit and killed me with one shot.
Speaking of one shot, I noticed when I have had the sniper I always seem to kill someone with one shot in the chest, not head. In fact, anyone that has killed me with the sniper has only put one shot on me, and according to the kill cam, there not all head shots by any means. I can’t speak for the people I’ve killed, but I know for me, my shields were full on some of them body shots. I shouldn’t of been killed with one hit.

wonky bullet magnetism mate, if a miss above or to the side of your head hits you there… why wouldn’t a miss below it? also some of those 1 shots the guy probably had 0 shields cause of sprint.
but beta, if its broken and gets reported (reported already) hopefully it will get fixed.

The auto-aim and bullet magnetism seem to be at their most reduced since CE. In Halo 4 I could get all kinds of kill with the sniper, but not here. I could be wrong, but in Halo 5 it seems to me that aiming matters. A lot.
Kill cams need to go for this very reason
I agree here. I’m glad Auto-Aim has been severely reduced, but the bullet magnetism on some weapons is insane. I’ve gotten some sniper kills where I was even shocked that it counted as a headshot.
To an other complaint about there being two snipers on Empire, I think that is simply a beta decision, and I imagine new weapons will be put on the map at full release. Because I agree, two snipers is far too many for that map. Personally, I think the sniper feels very out of place on it.
