If Smart Scope is to stay (which it likely will), it needs to retain that Halo feel. One way to accomplish this would be to make all the scopes holographic (like that of the Magnum). Like the classic zoom, the holographic sights would be linked to the Spartan’s HUD and would display upon zooming. One of the main complaints players have had with Smart Scope is that it obscures the spartan’s vision when zooming. With a holographic sight, there will be less of a vision obstruction, which might give Smart Scope an increased appeal among Halo players currently opposed to the new mechanism.
Not to mention that most Halo players seem to be open to the idea.
