I said this at the time in reaction to the E3 trailer and it needs to be said again and heard by 343i and changed. The wife’s hologram comes across as very jarring and awkward. I’m talking Microsoft Kinect demonstrations levels of awkward. A failed attempt at emotion.
She needs to not be just standing rigidly with a wide smile and big eyes and maybe show her husband their kid because it’s very weird how she’s just like “Hey I know you’re in deep space and miss our daughter but here’s me prattling on just standing here. Watch how I stand here awkwardly honey. Isn’t our daughter cute?” continue to show herself just standing there like a malfunctioning robot
I would go as far as to say she looks mentally ill and creepy so if it’s unchanged I’ll have to assume he’s crying because he knows by the time he gets home she will have ate the baby.

I haven’t noticed it much in other halo games but I think they where trying to get her to look like the old cortana but instead made a creepy version that could probably be used in a horror game

Uhhhh… interesting interpretation… lmao.
The problem with the hologram is it’s facing one direction and hollow in the other direction. Like the front of her face is projected but not the back of the head. Which would have been fine if they didn’t choose to do a panning shot around the hologram. What youre actually seeing in the trailer is the “inside wall” of her face, which is why it looks so weird.
Here is a video that can help you visualize what I mean:
Well it was shown ages before the intended release of Infinite, so Im going to be rather disappointed if the scene won’t be changed here & there a bit.
At first I thought you were talking about Cortana, and was a biiit confused, but now I’ve rewatched the trailer, I don’t think it NEEDS to be changed, but it’s certainly… off.
