Holiday Xbox Bundle Includes Halo 4

I see Microsoft is including Halo 4 in its new Xbox 360 250GB “Holiday Value Bundle.”

Damn, Tomb Raider and Halo 4 are great games, seems like a good deal, much better than what I got when I got a replacement console last year (Skyrim download and I already had the disk and Forza 4)

Guess MS has another one of their business strategies up their sleeves, lol. I gotta say though, the Holiday Value Bundle looks pretty good, especially with Halo 4 and Tomb Raider. I already have both games though, but for someone who doesn’t have the games nor an xbox, that makes a good Christmas gift, :).

I would’ve bought one of these newer consoles had I not bought the Halo 4 edition last year. Seems like a good bundle though.

I’m sure they’ll sell a boat load of em’ as Christmas presents and replacement consoles, and declare another few million Halo 4 copies sold.

It will be interesting to see what effect, if any, it will have on the multiplayer and SPOPs populations. Too bad it isn’t the GOTY edition, as it might help with the scarcity of DLC maps in matchmaking.

I don’t really get the point of these bundles. Why would I spend 300-400$ on a 7-year old piece of hardware when I could spend 100$ to 200$ more for the Xbox One or PS4?

Still, I guess the bundles aren’t all that bad, all things considered.

Because neither of these games will be on Xbox One and Xbox 360 will have a larger install base than the Xbox One for a few years?

Thats good news.

Yeah, that’s true. But think about it, at this point in the console’s lifetime, pretty much anybody who wants one will already have one. Same goes for those two games. If somebody really wants a 360 and Halo 4 that badly, why not just go buy the 4Gb console for 150$, buy the GoTY Edition for 40$, and save 100$ in the process?

I don’t know, I just don’t see this bundle really selling all that well compared to the Xbox One. If it were 100$ less, then sure. But at 300$? Seems quite expensive for a console that came out in 2005.
