Well given we have a holiday here in the UK till New Year I will go with the later, but your guess is as good as mine.

Don’t think so. As it says, this is the entire schedule “for the rest of the year.”
I’d like them to add objective games to the regular super fiesta playlist once this holiday thing is done. I’m unlikely to play pure Slayer super fiesta, but if I can get some commendations out of it, I’m down.
I do like the quickness of the games in the holiday playlist for sure, although I could do without a couple of the modes (melee).

I’m aware of that, that’s why I said “maybe”.
The Covenant Slayer rotational playlist replaced the rotational Action Sack playlist on the 6th of December. If it follows the standard rotation period it’ll be around until the 20th of December which is when the rotational Castle Wars playlist is planned to be rotated-in.
The new Holiday Fiesta playlist replaced the most excellent (sadly rotational) Anniversary Throwback playlist on the 13th of December. If it follows the standard rotation it’ll be around until the 27th of December, but (1) they haven’t announced what’s planned for implementation on the 27th of December, and (2) Fiesta playlists have a tendency to become permanent, so who knows. Maybe it’ll be kept available past the 27th of December.
The Castle Wars rotational playlist will likely rotate out come the 3rd of January (2019) based on the standard rotation practice.
They’re probably gonna do what they did with castle wars last year, where it sticks around a bit after new years then they’ll start going up with their usual rotational playlist schedule.
