So i hold the back button to view players for muting or what ever reason (just like other halo games thumbs up you got that right
But to scroll through list i gotta use D-pad… have you people got two thumbs on your left hand? did NO ONE test ANY of this game on MP?
Simple same as ALL other halo games, back to get menu and right stick to select…
Half of your post is assuming that no one from 343 will read anything you said and even if they did, it still wouldn’t be addressed. Instead of being a pessimistic passive-aggressive -Yoink!- how about just leaving that whole bit out and state your issue? That being said, I understand where you’re coming from. Something like this could be an easy fix. Right now you pretty much have to have mutated crab-hands to do this and still be able to play the game.
yes there is more important things to fix, but what is wrong with pointing this out
And telling us to get a life? seriously?
If people do not point out errors and things that are broken/wrong then we will never get a game that is 100%
mind you if your happy playing a game that is more broken than your attitude towards fellow gamers then good for you sir pats back
And yes my original post was a bit arsey, mainly due to the fact i’m tired of them ignoring us, but still posted with the hopes that they might actually read it, and possibly think “what a -Yoink-” lol
This is a valid complaint about the usability of the interface. Its current configuration is extremely clunky in operation. Op has a great point. Its a extremely easy fix, just re-assign the control function to the right stick from the d-pad. Would probably take all of oh…30 seconds to do.
I hate how the back button stops you from moving in the game.
As a competitive player I like to frequently see how many ppl are dead and on respawn while we move in on the objective. But when I do, I’m stopped dead in my tracks
OP was awfully snarky about an issue that could be legitimately discussed. If I had to provide a sampling of forum posts to my colleagues working on a Sustain Team, I would be careful to choose those with a less insulting tone. Elevate your dialogue to increase the chance that your (honest) gripe receives consideration.

I’ve noticed this too, its irritating and kind of makes the in game scoreboard pointless since you have to completely stop playing to view it.

i fixed original post.
not that i should have to be fair, i do not know why we should tread on thin ice with them, when it has just been a mess from launch though.
I noticed this too, its ridiculous how they messed this up. Did they hire programmers who had never played Halo before? Because if it ain’t broke, don’t try and fix it!

On top of that, let us move while bringing the scoreboard up. The stick doesn’t do anything while it’s up and you might as well let us. I know I would use an extra finger to move myself into some cover.
Oh, and while we’re at it, how about being able to scroll down to their name and tap X to mute people? Why do I have to open a whole menu?
^^ yes agreed second menu o.0 because that is great fun to do mid battle, i feel like the user who is been harassed by tools such as those people thinking we want to hear there poor mans suburban hip hop usually heard in volvos with baby seats in the back…
been killed a fair few times trying to mute some -Yoink!- who is screaming and trying to blow my tweeters.
