I have a feeling that Hog Wild might contain more maps (for both warzone/warzone assault and arena) than previous DLCs.
And that we will be receiving less reqs instead (to not bloat up the req system).

I think we shouldn’t get our hopes up. In all likelihood, we will just get weapon reskins, poorly designed armor, a few vehicles, and a remix map. Oh, and those two Brute Plasma Rifle variants that were seen briefly after MoR dropped, but were quickly removed.

Like a bunch of classic driving maps? Blood Gulch and District and Avalanche would be awesome to see brought into Halo 5. I’d also love to see game types like Rocket Race or even a vehicle Super Fiesta where you spawn in a random vehicle variant every time and you cant exit unless you die. It would be great for commendation boosting, specifically for the Phaeton, and it’s just fun to blow everyone up. It could get one sided if one team pulls an ONI Mantis and Scorpion but the other gets a ton of mongooses and scout hogs but hey that’s the price you pay for random spawns
Also in terms of REQs we might get a “Halo 3 Warthog” with tougher armor and a turret that can fire as long as you want without over heating, the target locator would be cool, and for the love of God please can we have the Falcon or Hornet back? No variants necessary just the old school flying death machines.

I think I saw ducain working on a blood gultch remake and hornet of falcon needs 2 be back. Please 343 bring back unsc flying veicles.

I think you’re confusing feeling with pipe dream.
If they were making a new map, they probably would’ve shown at least the smallest bit of it when introducing the warthog. But instead, they showed off stormbreak… I doubt we’ll get a new warzone map.

I’m hoping for same race mod!
maybe own designable hogs? but defintly overflowing the req pool even more, which would not be a problem if the u.i wpuld suport it better.
MOR had quite a few new maps
I personally hope for a UNSC air vehicle req.
Right, here are some of my ideas.
- Troop transport hog. I would like this to carry four Spartans. One driving, three passengers that can shoot weapons. Extra armour. Available at the same time as Scout Hogs to add some interesting tactical options. To keep the execs happy, there will have to be the different varients…
- Three buffs. One for all Warthogs to be 15-20% heavier to reduce the mad bounce. Two for the ONI Warthog gun to heat up much slower and cool down very fast. This is a good compromise. Three is to protect the gunner more at the front, it’s too too easy for them to get killed.
- Another, very large vehicle Warzone map. Larger than Noctus. Based on Sanghellios please or an awesome desert world map.
- Bloodgulch remake.
- Rocket Races.
To be honest, not exactly sure what they can put into a Hog Wild update that meets anyone expectations. The hogs are already in the game!
I don’t expect much from Hog Wild. What I really hope they put in though is the Race Gametype; (Maybe it’d be a variant of King of the Hill?) But Race would be stupendous!
I know this isn’t a popular opinion but I actually love getting new skins. And we need more BR and DMR skins.
Did ya’ll learn nothing from MOR? I sure did, its gonna be just like at Christmas when your aunt tells she got you a game system and you get all excited because you told EVERYBODY you wanted the xbone. Snap to Christmas day and all of a sudden you oven that package to see a O’Kama freaking game sphere. not horrible and kinda cool, but its definitely not what you asked for and your gonna always have a bitter look on your face when your aunt comes around.
