HMV Hell 5 (Halo Music Video Hell)

Hello fellow Spartans!

I’m happy to share with you my latest Machinima creation, HMV Hell 5. For those of you unfamiliar with the series, it’s basically a mashup of comedy and action skits set to a grab bag of music using Halo, inspired by the original AMV Hell series. I’m very proud to announce that 343 recently watched the movie and provided their feedback on my YouTube channel: http://youtube.com/imSuck

I’d love for all of you to check it out here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Wc_gc7MNtM

Movie Description:
HMV Hell 5 is the fifth episode of the “HMV Hell” (Halo Music Video Hell) series which dates back to Halo 2 in 2006. I’ve been making Halo Machinima movies for over 10 years now, but this has been our biggest production to date. It took the assistance of 55 gamers and over 2 months to Forge sets, film, edit and produce. If you haven’t seen the others in the series, I encourage you to check them out here on my channel, and on http://hmvhell.com for the episode(s) with audio issues due to copyright claims.

Notes from the director:
I don’t earn any money from making Machinima; the ads you see during and around the movie produce revenue for the copyright holders of the music I use, per YouTube’s Content ID system. Because of this, Machinima has always been a labor of love for me. I typically end up investing money in addition to time in order to create the works you see here and on my channel. While I’ve always enjoyed making and sharing Machinima, recent life changes will likely distance me further from the having time to work on new projects, so I wanted this movie to be a big splash. It contains homages to the Halo community and nods to our previous projects many of you know and love. Fans of the silly video game movies we’ve created over the years mean a great deal to me. Many of you have literally grown up watching our movies, and some of you have even shared stories of the positive impact these movies have had on you during difficult and pivotal times in your lives. When I started making movies, I had no goals, I just wanted to create something that would make people laugh. I poured two months of my life, all of my time and effort into this project as my way of thanking you all for your support, praise and gratitude. Thank you all for the good times.

Special Thanks
Judera, Newman, Eddiction, Mesonak111, ToaEljay, AUREL1EN and ZieMethBear for all of your hard work, long hours, and dedication to the project. You guys really helped this thing become a reality, you da real MVPs.

About the Series:
HMV Hell (Halo Music Video Hell) is a music video montage created using the video game series “Halo”. The series was initially inspired by the “AMV Hell” anime series, but has over time become a style unto itself. HMV Hell was originally created by imSuck with the help of the Machinima group “HollywoodHalo” and friends. The term “HMV” has become synonymous with Halo music video Machinima in the Halo community since the release of the original created by imSuck in 2006. Fans have even made spin-off Machinima movies in the style of HMV Hell. The original series continues to be contributed to by imSuck over the years. See more at www.hmvhell.com

it appears Halo Waypoint is a hard nut to crack buddy. Nobody seems to be paying attention over here.

Lazy Link

Dude, I’ve watched the whole video at least three times, I love it. Everything about it is absolutely perfect. Usually I can pick a thing or two out that was done in poor taste when it comes to machinimas, but you sir have created something astonishing. Great job. If I ever get around to making machinimas (who knows when that’ll happen), HMV Hell 5 will be my role model.

I went ahead and edited in the link for you!

Love this series!

haha nice! love it
