This has to be probably one of the STUPIDIEST things added in a Halo game. Point being that if I’m able to join a game in progress it’s almost 100% of the time going to put me on the losing team because someone quit. Therefore making me quit right when I join just like this Big Team game I joined and quit in less than 30 seconds because it was already almost over and my team was losing. People on the winning team don’t generally quit out 343 do you guys even play FPS games?
Sigh seriously every match Ragnarok, Ragnarok, Ragnarok, Ragnarok, Ragnarok, Ragnarok, Ragnarok, Ragnarok, oh wait Tank map oh back to Ragnarok again. WTB more variety.
Wins and losses don’t even count.
If you can pwn while you’re in the game, you’ll get plenty of XP to unlock purty thangs.
JIP is a godsend for friends to join in when a random quits out instead of waiting many minutes for the match to end.
While it is true its good for casual friends to join in. I don’t like having an -Yoink- ton of losses and a possible “quit” suspension like Reach had because I decided to leave a match that it put me that was already started.

hey, i’m glad my entire team is replaced when they quit instead of being left alone
I thought I had heard that the “Joining in Progress” feature was going to be able to be toggled off. I finally ran into my first match today that dropped me in as the match was ending. really wish I could toggle it off.
Join in progress is an abomination.
Worst thing to happen to this game along with the ‘over powered DMR’.
Name one down side to that weapon ?.

I agree 1000% and just had a post about this end up getting locked. The mindset for the collective decision to add JIP must have been made after working 36 hours straight. There is such a small amount of occurances that JIP is beneficial. 9/10 times it is screwing someone over. That and starting a game with one team having more players than the other.

Then go read a book and stop posting when people have a justified concern.
I don’t like the JIP option in any game but games like CoD have pretty much had it since the start. Halo used to be special and it’s own kind. Now it just has so much replication of other games it’s sickening. Aside from Master Chief, Armor, and gun’s I really do feel like I’m playing something totally different than Halo. This game has lost it’s core since H2 and H3. JIP just does nothing but screw people over because you’re more likely to get on the losing team when you join than the winning. You wouldn’t be able to join if someone didn’t leave and the people who leave are the people who are losing.

Do I lift no not really. I mean I only weight 150 and I’m almost 6 foot. I’m actually fairly under weight since I’m assuming you’re calling me fat. I don’t really have time to lift between 60 hour work weeks, full time school, trying to spend time with my fiance, and a little personal gaming entertainment time. Didn’t know that posting complaints on forums justified being fat. Who knew?

the weapon is fine. Are you just mad because you are bad with it cuz like…uhh it takes skill to aim?
just go play reach, it has a bad DMR there
