Something I have been wanting for awhile now is an actual language for halo. I would hope they would create a language for both the forerunners and the shangeilis, but if they only gave us one I would be fine with that as well. Do you guys agree with this? If so, then maybe we can find a way to get this done. If not, that’s also okay as well. Either way I would like to hear your opinions on this matter. Also, this is a friendly conversation there is no need for things to get out of hand.
A Sangheili language wouldnt work so well as the words would never sound real due the diffrence in our psychology.
A forrunner language would work better actaully.

dont you mean physiology?
reply ends here.
also the former covenant races have their own languages just check Halo: Reach if you want to hear those also i remember one of the team osiris speaking sanghelian (vale if i remember it right), at the first level before the charge uphill and when they encounter dead swords of sanghelios in the level when they are at the sanghelios.
I think that there hasnt been a single case where we could have heard the forerunner language (though there is writings that turn into english in Halo 3 but I think those noises werent anykind of language).
Well in terms of writing systems we have a few…
And we have a lot on the Sangheili

I agree that our physiology is different, and that it would be a hard one to do,but as MIKA95VARTSU pointed out this is not impossible. There have been two that I know of in the lore. first being professor Evan Phillips from Halo: Glasslands, and the second being Olympia Vale from fireteam Osiris. And I realize that I’m responding several months later, and I’m sorry for that, but I have been somewhat busy.
