When I stepped into Team Slayer BR’s, I was completely fresh to Halo 5. I was excited and prepared to get my -Yoink- handed to me since I’m rusty to not only Halo, but controllers as well. After finally getting into a match after 3 failed attempts, I noticed something odd. I would aim for someone’s head and only get one bullet to land. I at first thought that it was because there was incredibly reduced bullet magnetism and soldiered on. I adjusted my aim for someone’s chest and I started to lead my shots slightly to be on the safe side. Again, I only landed one or two bullets per hit. At this point I was quite frustrated until I shot someone square in the back and got a headshot. Perplexed, I started to aim at player’s necks and shoulders and started to land way more shots, and I started to rack up some headshots. Even on players that were no longer visible
This shouldn’t be happening. I shouldn’t be aiming for the top of someone’s shoulders to get headshots. The hitboxes for the head are to low and not aligned to the actual player model. This can mislead players. Whether or not this is method to combat head glitching, it is quite aggravating. Not only that, I would occasionally get headshots on players that were no longer visible on my screen. This means that entire hitbox for the player was lagging behind the character model. Obviously, that there is something wrong with that. Again, this can mislead players and both issues lead to horribly inconsistent gameplay.
not doubting you, but I haven’t been seeing it.

This can primarily be due to latency between your console and the server. On your screen, you are behind a wall, on everyone else’s screen, you still haven’t gotten behind the wall.
