Hit exp cap in less than 5 hours...

why even have a double xp promotion? you just waste games after you hit the daily cap >.>

No one said it was required to buy Double xp deal with it.

I agree, I intended to do a nice halo 24 hour grind session. Now i’m halfway to 25 and can’t get any more exp. It’s kind of silly to have double XP and then cap it. Even without double XP, I mean…I understand the purpose of the cap. But everyone should of known we would all play the -Yoink- out of the game when we first got it from midnight release.

i didnt buy it… but i have 200 games and after all the whining about the cap in reach its stupid to even have 1, or have it so low that you hit in 4-5 hours with the double xp promotion

i want to progress when i play, not be held back so deal with it that people play more than you… no need to be a jerk.

And yeah i mean CoD doesnt have a cap (sorry, had to point it out) people being higher up in SR doesnt make a huge difference. No real advantages so its dumb to hold back people

Any idea how long the cap lasts? I want to get back to playing.

> Any idea how long the cap lasts? I want to get back to playing.

They’re usually 24 hours.

Y IS THERE A DAILY CAP IN THE FIRST PLACE? I TOOK OFF WORK JUST TO PLAY ALL DAY AND I CANT LEVEL UP THIS IS -Yoink-.

Or until the server resets. Which would make it so you would have to wait around 18 hours from now.

Wow, that cap is way too low for 24 hours, I hope something is done to fix it. I didn’t even get 50k exp. (sr24.5)

Going to have alot of people pretty mad when they get around that range. lol.

Yepp… sadly.

3 days off from work and ill only be able to get 15hours of progression in.

dumb move 343i

Cap sounds lame but I don’t even think I could play multiplayer for 5+ hours to hit the cap. Not like the old days where I could play a ton.

I think my days of halo 3 grinding sucked the gaming outta me lol. Those days where I could play forever. Now I can only take it in small dosses.

> Y IS THERE A DAILY CAP IN THE FIRST PLACE? I TOOK OFF WORK JUST TO PLAY ALL DAY AND I CANT LEVEL UP THIS IS -Yoink!-.

Play the campaign? Forge?

Yet again I fail to see why a dev would put something in a game which actively discourages gameplay / offers no incentive to play once cap is hit!

Cap was put in place to stop boosters was it not in Reach?

I did then and I still do think its a terrible idea, let boosters boost its barely going to effect anyone, the fact that there is a XP cap in place to top booster actually effects people more

> Y IS THERE A DAILY CAP IN THE FIRST PLACE? I TOOK OFF WORK JUST TO PLAY ALL DAY AND I CANT LEVEL UP THIS IS -Yoink!-.

im in the same boat as you… i thought they would have learned from the whining during Reach  especially with 2xp its really dumb

on last mission of campaign and at the cap… forge wont last 18 hours…

boosting affects no one. it doesnt affect the boosters invisible rank, simply their SR so let them boost for their pretty number so i can play for mine instead of punishing fans that want to play the game and not be held back by some stupid cap that isnt in any other progression based game

It was probably a dumber move to take three days off of work to play a video game

You’re pissed off because you reached a daily cap, with double xp, in 5 hours. That would mean that it would of taken you 10 hours to reach the cap normally. I understand the game is new and you want to play, but that’s just unhealthy. It’ll take longer to level up, once you start leveling up more, and you’re not using double xp.

Also if you are so concerned with leveling up being an incentive, then why use double xp in the first place? Doesn’t really make sense. So what would happen once you reach the top level, if there was no daily cap, and you did it in say 3 days with doouble xp? What would be your incentive for playing?

This.

It’s only because you’re using Double EXP. As NinjaPenguin pointed out, the cap wouldn’t be hit for 10 hours or so normally.

If peoples only incentive to play is a pointless pointless progression system, then you’re going to be thoroughly dissapointed when you reach max rank in 2 weeks or so. Cause you level up hella fast in Halo 4.

In-game visible skill-based ranking system.
