Hit detection could use some work

Hit detection could use a little work. Hit an enemy with skewer and heatwave and somehow did no damage. Maybe I’m missing something? But this seems like a hit detection issue or desync. Look up my most recent clip in my dvr to see it. Would post a link, but site won’t let me.

No. You’re not wrong. There is an issue with registering damage or something.
I have shot a rocket directly at people and only their shields popped.
Every weapon suffers from this.

That skewer missiles like crazy. Hits coming from cover are at least 25% worse than in H5. Hopefully some fixes coming soon. Sword and Hammer both need Nerfed and DMR is underpowered. Im not digging a lot of the new weapons.

I’ve had that happen with rockets consistently!!! I just thought that maybe they nerfed em and you have to get direct hits. Glad to hear I’m not the only one with that issue too.

You can go watch the replays, and it literally shows the enemies in different locations then what they were during the match on your screen. This is why no registration, bad melee, and so much variable grenade damage is happening. It literally looks like you were shooting at air, but you’re accuracy that is still calculating properly based on what you shot on your screen. If you look at the ratio between shots fired and hit, and the damage done, it is plain to see that the damage is not actually being applied… Something insane is going on with this games netcode. I tested it in 1v1s in customs with my brother at 20 ping. I also have gig internet. I was able to replicate the desync I was seeing in matches consistently, and then check my VOD recording versus the replay to show huge issues.

I know people were talking about the tick rate of the servers too. I wonder if that’s playing a role in the desync as well. It definitely is a problem in some moment to moment situations where you need that one shot to kill.

Biggest reason for this is probably not being able to select which region you play in. It’s all about the latency. This would fix a lot of Wanted bullet curving etc. Either let us select a region or put us in the best available automatically.

Getting shot around corners, players walking on exploding grenades, limited damage from power weapons and general hit detection probems normally means that you are playing on a high ping matches.

Turn on the ping display and I reckon you will see that when you have hit detection problems, it is because you are plaing matches well over 100+ms

What region are you guys in?
