Pre-ordered Halo 4 Le and waiting for it to arrive. I decided to go onto metacritic to see how the game was received by the public. I think it’s the last time I use it as a basis to buy a game. The customer ratings are nothing short of hilarious. From the 12 or so zeroes that I read, 3 of them are the exact same. One review went so far as to claim that Reach was an outstanding game and that going back to tell the story of chief and Cortana was a bad decision.
Further proof that no matter how hard a developer works to satisfy their audience, people are never happy.
As of now, I don’t have the game and won’t be able to play online when I get it in a couple hours, but I honestly don’t care about these bad reviews because over the past couple weeks, there has been a very wide range of thoughts on the game, but I don’t really care because I just can’t wait, and yes at the moment I really don’t feel like starting sentences.
They are all troll posts, this happens all the time on metacritic. However this is the worst I’ve seen it on day one of a new game.
I agree with what everyone is saying. I just find it ridiculous that people who enjoy other games decide to post a negative review on a game they clearly haven’t tried. The negative review is based purely upon the fact that it is a game that competes with a game they like.
I have never bought a game with even a cursory glance at Metacritic.
