I got to say Bungie has become a bunch of money grabbing-yoinks-on the Eurogamer their is a interview, might I add a hilarious one, that shows their true colors.Their interview is to promote their new Taken King expansion dlc for Destiny.During the interview Eurogamer asks many questions regarding as to why their veteran players are forced to rebuy dlc in order to get exclusive content.Bungie,or their representative Luke Smith, responds with hilarious answers such as avoiding the questions, saying that their customers are idiots for buying their dlc,and what made me laugh the most is that at one point he literally says in his own words that they can do whatever they want as their customers would literally throw cash at their screen to buy what ever they come up with.LOL
I don’t know how anyone could accuse them of being greedy, they would make more money offering them as micro-transactions available to everyone instead of just in the bundle but the entire argument is over the fact they haven’t done that.
People are arguing what? ‘-Yoink!- it bungie if i want these emotes i have to pay such and such’ and what i got from that interview was him suggesting that once you see them you’ll realise they aren’t worth paying anything for anyway.
Ironically, people will -Yoink- until they DO offer them as micro-transactions, people will be satisfied and THEN bungie makes more money lmao
I wouldn’t say his actions speak for the entire company. But dude you should have seen those destiny forums, they literally exploded. I’m annoyed about how he acted, as if we didn’t matter, but who cares about a few emotes. The damage control is working wildly, promising to make things up currently.
This post is probably going to get locked.
We should strive to treat everyone with respect. If you can’t find something nice to say, probably best not to say it.
