On my profile and MCC section it displays my Highest Skill Rank as “2” when that is incorrect. At the time this stat was implemented it was 2, but now that it is higher it should no longer display the number “2,” unless it is supposed to show highest skill level before the rank reset. If it is supposed to display the Highest Skill Rank before the reset it should say that somewhere to improve clarity in my opinion.

Interesting. I pulled up your profile and can confirm it shows the highest skill rank as 2, however when I look at your stats in-game or your details ranks page I can see that they are higher (17). Which device do you typically play on?

PC on Steam

If you have an Xbox One or newer console, could you try to play a game on that and see if your stats migrate over to the website after?

Edit: If this doesn’t work for you, or you don’t have a console to play on, please submit a ticket over on the support site to bring this issue more attention.

I don’t have an Xbox, and I don’t think Halo Support deals with Halo Waypoint issues, there isn’t a selection for Halo Waypoint. I think this forum is the only way to communicate issues with this website. Thanks for taking an interest in this problem nevertheless.

The issue itself may not be an issue with the site, and instead, an issue with the game communicating with the site. I would still report this issue to bring attention to it. I would put this under the “Matchmaking Rank” category for whatever platform you are playing on. To add, I would imagine that the developer team working on the support side has close ties to the website development for issues such as these as well.

How does the ‘Highest Skill Rank’ work? For the past week or so, I’ve been playing Halo: Reach Invasion (on MCC) through the Competitive Playlist and was wondering, should this have any connection to the rank? Thanks.

The highest skill rank on your Halo Waypoint profile is supposed to be representative of your highest competitive skill rank in MCC. If your Invasion rank is the highest compared to your other competitive ranks, then your Invasion rank will be displayed as your highest skill rank.

Thanks for the reply. In that case, I’ll submit a ticket as my current highest rank is 11 and nothing has been updated.
